Often Asked Questions
A gentle guide to online therapy for navigating anxiety, sleep problems, and life changes.

1. How can therapy help with anxiety, sleep or burnout?
You might be feeling anxious, not sleeping well, or simply overwhelmed.
Maybe you’re caring for others, going through big life changes, or just feeling unlike yourself.
Online therapy can offer emotional support for women in midlife. It provides a calm space to pause, breathe, and start to make sense of things.
Together, we gently explore what’s going on and what could help you feel better.
2. What happens in a private online therapy session?
Each session lasts around 60 minutes and is shaped around what you need.
You can talk freely and be met with warmth, kindness, and practical support. There’s no pressure to talk about anything you’re not ready for.
Some sessions may include tools to improve sleep, reduce anxiety, or build emotional balance. Most of all, you’ll feel listened to and supported.
3. How many therapy sessions will I need?
There’s no fixed number. Some people feel a shift after just one or two sessions. Others want a little longer.
We go at your pace, one step at a time. You’re welcome to book a single session and see how it feels — there’s no commitment.
4. Will I have to talk about my past?
Only if you want to. Some women find it helpful to reflect on the past, especially during life transitions like menopause, caring responsibilities, or retirement.
Others prefer to focus on the here and now. We’ll work in the way that feels most helpful for you.
5. Do you offer online therapy for women over 50?
Yes. Most sessions take place online via a private, secure video call. You can talk from the comfort of your home.
If you live in London, I may offer face-to-face sessions. Just ask when you get in touch.
6. What is the cost of a therapy session?
Sessions are £60 and last 60 minutes.
7. Do you offer reduced-cost therapy sessions?
Yes — I offer a small number of concessionary places at £30 for people on a low income.
You don’t need to share personal details or prove anything. If you’re finding it hard to afford therapy right now, please just ask — if I have availability, it’s yours.
I believe no one should have to wait for help when they need it most.
8. What if I’m unsure therapy is right for me?
That’s completely normal. If you’re unsure, I offer a free 15-minute phone or video chat. This lets you ask questions and get a feel for how I work. There’s no pressure to book.
Sometimes, just talking things through can bring a sense of relief.
9. What is your money-back guarantee?
If you book a session and feel it wasn’t helpful, I offer a no-questions-asked money-back guarantee for your first session. If the session is not the right fit, you can request a refund.
Therapy is personal, and the first session is your chance to see how it feels to work with me. I want you to feel safe trying therapy without pressure or risk.
